The Château de Haute-Serre stands at an altitude of 300 metres on the historic slopes of the Cahors vineyard. Among the highest densities on the plateau, the 60 hectares of vines are nourished by the singularity of the kimmeridgian clay-limestone soil enriched with blue clay and iron concretions.

The cuvée "Lucter" evokes the eponymous Gallic hero, a determined resistant committed to his Cadurcian lands. This second wine, with its pretty ruby colour, reveals all the expression of the singularity of the Haute-Serre terroir through silky tannins, a delicate and crisp palate and an expressive nose with aromas of spices and pepper.

The "Georges" cuvée is a tribute to the pioneer and passionate Georges Vigouroux who recognised the high biodiversity potential of this exceptional terroir and revived the historic vineyard of Haute-Serre in 1971. Delicate, this brilliant red wine reveals very elegant and silky tannins and a complex nose with aromas of black fruits and subtle touches of spices and pepper.

This traditional method is made with a selection of the best rosés from the Château. Bellefleur shows a floral bouqet with hints of red fruits and a nice minerality. The bubbles are fine and the aftertaste beautifully balanced.
